Meet the Founders

Shield Maiden Designs wasn’t born in a boardroom.
It was built at a kitchen table — between real risk, school schedules, long nights, and the decision that if we were going to build something, we’d build it ourselves.

Core Values

We believe in ownership.
We believe in loyalty.
We believe in building things that outlast us.

And we believe your name deserves to be represented well.

Every operation has roles.
Ours just happen to come with unofficial titles.

Jamie

Co-Founder & Chief Operations Officer
(Official Chaos Coordinator & Standard Bearer)

Where momentum is built, Jamie ensures it lands correctly.

She is the operational backbone of Shield Maiden Designs — overseeing quality control, communication, timelines, and the countless moving parts that turn ideas into finished products.

If something feels seamless, it’s because she prevented three potential problems before anyone else noticed.

Strengths:

  • Precision under pressure

  • Client communication

  • Operational discipline

  • Protecting quality at all costs

Unofficial responsibilities:

  • Morale maintenance

  • Strategic eye-rolling

  • Guardian of standards

Carl

Co-Founder & Director of Big Ideas
(Head of Strategic Overthinking & Forward Momentum)

Carl is responsible for most of the “we can absolutely build that” moments.

With a background shaped by discipline, resilience, and a refusal to quit, he approaches business with intensity and forward momentum.

Strengths:

  • Vision casting

  • Systems and structure

  • Growth strategy

  • Refusing to accept “good enough”

Known flaw:
Sometimes ordering equipment before the rest of the team has emotionally prepared for it.

The Driving Forces

PeeGee

Creative Director of Vibes & Aesthetic Authority
(VP of Snacks & Strategic Motorcycle Positioning)

PeeGee has been negotiating life since birth.

Creative, sharp, and fiercely independent, she carries strong opinions about design, color, layout, and fairness — and she’s usually right.

She loves stealing her mom’s spot on the back of the motorcycle and takes her role as big sister very seriously. Her creative instincts are strong, her standards are high, and her feedback is refreshingly honest.

Future goals:

  • Makeup artist

  • Stylist

  • Possibly Creative Director of the entire operation before we’re ready

Current contributions:

  • Design critique

  • Color strategy consultation

  • Snack inventory oversight

Superman

Chief Energy Officer & Director of Rapid Ideation

Superman operates at a speed most processors can’t handle.

On the spectrum and proudly wired for high-energy creativity, he thinks a billion miles a minute and asks questions most adults never consider. He is wildly intelligent, endlessly curious, and equipped with a silly streak that keeps the entire operation lively.

He wants to be:

  • A YouTuber

  • A comedian

  • Possibly both at the same time

He believes in:

  • Full-speed curiosity

  • Immediate hugs

  • Minimal awareness of personal space

Current responsibilities:

  • Idea generation

  • Enthusiasm deployment

  • Moral support at maximum intensity

Lil’ Bear

Executive Director of Strategic Comfort & Tactical Snack Acquisition
(Chief Animal Relations Officer & Senior Gaming Strategist)

Lil’ Bear is the quiet strategist of the operation.

Also on the spectrum, he leads through observation first — then delivers precision commentary when you least expect it. Beneath his calm presence is a razor wit and a deeply gentle soul.

Animals treat him as a trusted ally.
He considers this a mutual professional respect.

Future ambitions:

  • Professional gamer

  • Professional pet owner

Current operational focus:

  • Advanced snack evaluation

  • Emotional workspace calibration

  • Interdepartmental morale support

  • Animal diplomacy at executive levels

How This Actually Works

Behind the unofficial titles and personality is a disciplined system.

We plan carefully.
We communicate clearly.
We protect quality aggressively.
And we don’t send anything out the door we wouldn’t stand behind personally.

The humor stays on this page.
The standards show up in your order.

Why We Do This

We are not building a side project.
We are building a standard.

Our children are watching ownership happen in real time — the risk, the responsibility, the long nights, the follow-through.

Small businesses matter.
Loyalty matters.
Community matters.

When you work with Shield Maiden Designs, you’re not submitting a ticket into a system.

You’re partnering with a family that takes pride seriously.

Whether it’s outfitting a crew or creating something meaningful for your own home, we approach it the same way:

With pride.
With loyalty.
With follow-through.

Let’s Build Something Worth Putting Your Name On.
